WHO WILL BE TEACHING ME?

We take seriously the insight of the Apostle Paul who said that the great need of the hour is not simply more teachers of knowledge, but true spiritual fathers who can model a way of life for their students.

With this in mind we are assembling a faculty of seasoned men and women who live what they teach. Our school leadership team is made up of spiritual fathers and mothers who between them have decades of experience in both teaching and hands on ministry.

In addition to our core leadership team, we have a number of outstanding resident faculty members and will invite a number of special guest instructors with established ministries throughout the school year.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WEEK LOOK LIKE?

Each FULL TIME school will run each week from Tuesday through Friday. Each day will typically begin with time in the Prayer Room and core classes will run most mornings from Tuesday through Thursday until lunchtime. On Tuesday-Thursday afternoons students will be involved in various assignments of practical service and/or ministry outreach. Each Friday, students will meet together in small groups in the morning or early afternoon, before participating in our Friday evening regional revival gathering known as ‘The Reach’.

In addition, weekly participation in a local church is a requirement for all students. For those from out of town who are not currently involved in a local church, you are encouraged and welcome to participate  Open Door Church activities and events during your time with us.

Dates for PART TIME schools may vary - but classes typically take place on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm (ET).

DO YOU RECOMMEND TAKING BOTH FULL TIME SCHOOLS IN THE SAME YEAR?

While it is possible to take the schools independently of each other over several years, it is our recommendation to take both schools the same school year in order to profit as much as possible from the integrated nature of our curriculum and the community dynamics of remaining with the same group of people for a longer period of time.

CAN I WORK PART TIME?

The full time program is designed to enable students to hold a smaller part-time job during the school year if that is necessary.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Payment plans may be offered on a case by case basis.

DO YOU OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS?

We want to believe with you for provision of your school fees. It is our experience that the joy of seeing God’s provision can be a dynamic part of your journey in God. However, some scholarships may be available for students wishing to participate in the school who can show proof of financial hardship. Such scholarships will be decided on a case by case basis by the school’s leadership team. Please contact us for more information.

CAN YOU HELP WITH ACCOMMODATION?

We do not currently offer accommodation at The Revival Academy. Students are responsible for their own accommodation, transportation and living expenses. Please contact us if you are moving to South Florida to participate in our school and need help or advice in finding suitable accommodation.

DO YOU ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS?

We are not currently able to enroll international students for full time in person study. However the nature of our curriculum does permit visiting internationals to participate in our training program as visitors on a module by module basis within the limits permitted by the ESTA visa waiver program. Please contact us for more information. Our part time courses may be taken in person or online by internationals.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON RELATIONSHIPS?

It is not permitted/recommended for students to begin a romantic relationship during the school year. In our experience, God often works powerfully in the hearts of students during the course of the program, and beginning such a relationship is not generally conducive to being able to focus on all that the Lord wants you to receive from Him in this time of special consecration.

Existing relationships are not a barrier to application for the school. If you are currently in a pre-marital relationship, we will take the opportunity to ask you about your relationship during the application process.

HOW DO I APPLY?

For our full time schools, please fully complete the online application form on this website and pay the $50 application fee. We aim to respond to completed applications within 14 days with either an unconditional acceptance or to arrange an interview.

For part time study, please fill out the application on our website and submit it along with payment and you will receive an email with further details regarding start date, pre-course preparation etc.
